Divisions

The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office has three branches that comprise the organization. Administration, Detentions, and Patrol. All three branches offer exciting and unique challenges. Explore them below.

PATROL

Patrol Deputies are responsible for protecting and serving the communities within the the 2,956 square miles that comprises Garfield County.

DETENTIONS

The Detentions Division is responsible for overseeing and protecting the inmates that are housed at Garfield County Jail, located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

ADMINISTRATION

The Administrative staff perform a vital role within the organization. They run and manage all of the back-end operations that keep the agency running smoothly.
